Does anyone have a recommendation of how to handle emergency notifications in noisy areas such as the gym, band rooms etc where intercom pages for building lock-down etc may not be heard. We don't want to cause a panic or have people leave the area as that may not be the desired result.

I've heard of people using a red flashing light to get people's attention, but we haven't implemented anything. Turning the sprinklers on my work :)
