e-Rate Reimbursements

Hello everyone,

We've had quite a wait for eRate funds.  We purchased a significant amount of network equipment and it was installed last Thanksgiving weekend (2015) yet we have not received the actual funds.  The company that sold and installed the equipment agrees that the process has been abnormally long, but we've never been through it before and have no experience to compare it to.

I don't have all exact dates on hand, but I'm fairly certain it's been over 6 months since we qualified for funding and made the decision to move forward with network upgrades.  Does anyone have any suggestion on whether or not this is a typical wait time?

Once the service or equipment is purchased and completed, I had to file a 472 (Bear) form.  they took a couple of weeks to verify the $ and now they sent me a form stating that the $ are available, so should get ours within 10 days from when they sent the form to us and the vender.

I have several districts that have filed the 472 (Bear) forms and have been waiting for over 6 months without receiving reimbursement.  I also have several that have received reimbursement.

Two weeks ago I received a reimbursement check for a 2012 472 form (several appeals involved).  I took a picture of that check for posterity...
