Video editing software

I like to know what video editing software people are using on the mac or pc for video production classes at the high school level.

 On the Mac are you doing Final Cut 5,6or 7, Final Cut X, Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe Premiere Pro or something else?

What are you using on the PC? Windows movie maker, Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe Premiere Pro or something else?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Waubun uses Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie Maker for pc's and iMovie on Mac's.

Crookston uses combination of Final Cut Studio v5 I believe and Final Cut X depending on the age of the mac.
