the new LightRaise projector from Smart - good or bad??

Bud Kadin would like any feedback you may have on the new LightRaise projector from SMART.  Has anyone used on yet?

I haven't seen one, but the obvious pro's are that you can have a larger image size and it is cheaper than purchasing a projector/smartboard combination.  The major con I see is that you have to have the pen, make sure it is charged and it doesn't "disappear"...

Maybe we can get the new Tierney rep to do a demo next fall for us.

I had a few teachers wanting one instead of a Smartboard. So I ordered just one for them to test out ... I can let you know what we discover.
