Technology for 21st Century Learners in Northwest Minnesota

Can I get some ideas on what others are doing for student email.  I have an advanced business class that needs email access for students to communicate with business mentors.  I really don't want the kids on my exchange server.

Thanks

Gaggle.net It's free and does content filtering for you. The free version has ads, but life goes on. We spent the $200 for a domain name, so our students use "username@waubun.gaggle.net". They can ONLY send/receive email in the waubun.gaggle.net domain and to/from the waubun.k12.mn.us domain. So, students and staff can email each other, but they can't email hotmail, gmail, etc...
Brian,

How did you set up the accounts?

Thanks

Export from Active Directory to excel, added passwords and misc information, imported into gaggle.
