Does anyone have a good source for projector lamps.  They seem really high at our normal vendors.

Thanks

I have researched and searched and I think they are just plain expensive. I tried www.advancedlamps.com once, and will never use them again. The lamp has never worked correctly, and they refused to stand by their guarantee of 180 days. So the $100.00 less for the lamp was not worth it in the long run...I guess you do get what you pay for.

I'd love to hear of a good source as well :)
I've purchased a few Epson bulbs from buy.com and CDWG without any issues. Not really sure who's cheaper, seems to depend on the day. Here's a question in return. What should we consider the life cycle of a projector? When I can buy a new projector for $569, I have a hard time spending $200 on a bulb...

What do you think?

That is what I am looking at also. New bulb for this projector is $259, projector is 5 years old. I think it is heading for the recycling center.
