Online resources: Item samplers and tutorials for the following online assessments will be available on the Minnesota Assessments portal as follows:

• Online item samplers for the Mathematics MCA, Mathematics MCA-Modified, and Science MCA will be available on January 24. An additional Science MCA sampler with simulations posted on March 12.
• Tutorials: The combined Mathematics MCA, Mathematics MCA-Modified, and Science MCA student tutorial will be available on January 24. A student tutorial for the Reading MCA field test will also be available on January 24.
• Online calculator for Mathematics MCA and Mathematics MCA-Modified: available end of this week.

Technology Training, Part 2

AIR is offering webinars on preparing computers for online testing.  A recorded version of the webinar will also be available following the webinars. This training will go into greater detail than the first technology webinars offered in August and October and will cover the information in the Technical Specifications for Online Testing manual (available under General Resources in the Minnesota Assessments portal). Topics will include an overview of testing applications, hardware and software requirements, network configuration and diagnostics, and text-to-speech setup.
