MOODLE UPDATE

Ties had a good session on some great things that have been added to Moodle.  I am looking into getting info about the trainer and seeing if she'd be available to come to FB.  I think our version at FB is too old--has anyone updated, and is there anyone that I could hire to update FB remotely, or someone who will tutor me through it?  I am assuming that an update shouldn't be terribly difficult.  However, I do wonder if we have to update a version at a time.  Any assistance would be welcome.
