MICROSOFT CY PRES FUNDS AND THE TIES CONFERENCE

Hello Everyone:

 

At the risk of shameless self-promotion or organizational self-promotion, well, let’s call it outreach -  I just wanted to remind you that the TIES 2011 Technology Conference will be held on December 10-13, 2011.

 

You and your member school districts can register at http://ties2011.ties.k12.mn.us.

 

I found out this week that school districts who have general purpose dollars left in the Microsoft Cy Pres accounts/vouchers can use them for the TIES 2011 Conference. School districts can check their fund balances at https://microsoftmnmde.com. When the original vouchers were issued, each school district was issued a log-in and a password. If those have been lost or districts have questions, they can contact the Cy Pres program administrators at [phone]. All Microsoft Cy Pres funds must be spent by January 27, 2012.

Yes, Keith, we have. I have a copy of an e-mail that Kathy Kraemer sent me from Fridley from the Claims Administrator indicating that the 2011 conference is eligible. They just haven't updated the list as yet.
