This is from my friend Marc Johnson at ECMECC on the other side of the state:
I'm posting on behalf of one of my member districts, Rush City Schools. They are looking for a technology coordinator - a real "jack of all trades". It would be a good opportunity for someone with the right skills looking to move up from a tech support position to one with a little more responsibility (but still with end-user support as well). Here is the posting as it appears on EdPost, MASA and other services...
Computer Support/Network Administrator–Twelve-month position. Maintain District Windows and Mac OSX Systems, including servers, email, web, and data services. Provide technical support to end users. Assist administration in planning, budgeting, and implementation of district technology plans. Send letter of application and resume to Rush City Schools, Vern Koepp, Superintendent, PO Box 566, Rush City, MN 55069. 320-358-4855. Online applications available at
http://www.rushcity.k12.mn.us Position open until filled.
I also posted this in the “forum” area of the MEMO Ning site. Don’t forget to check out the forums there for questions/answers, opportunities and other pertinent discussions.
