It was recently announced that beginning July 1st Postini, the Google Apps email content filter of choice, will be a fee based service ($15-$25 per student). If your school is planning to implement Google Apps now or in future and you would like to avoid paying for Postini services, Tierney Brothers recommends that you attend one of the below classes.

Setting up Google Apps for your Domain

Date: Friday June 18th

Time: 9:00am-11:30am or 12:30-3:00pm (Lunch served for both sessions 11:30-12:30)

Description: Tierney Brothers educational consultant will teach you how to:
• Register a domain with Google
• Verify domain ownership and Education status
• Register and enable Postini
• Sett up the appropriate MX records

Cost: 1-2 attendees from one school/district $59/person
3+ attendees from one school/district $49/person

For schools/districts planning to implement Google Apps, Tierney Brothers will also be providing training, professional development and administrative support sessions this upcoming summer and fall.
