Thank you for your help today and the team's time.  Attached are the background links related to Lefthand SAN, StoreEasy File storage and P2000 we discussed.  Please let me know if you would like to talk in greater detail at a future meeting.  I understand you wanted to hear more about Gen 8 Servers, but our server resource was unable to make it.  Perhaps there's an opportunity to review servers at the next meeting.

1)      Lefthand – VSA and Nodes.  We talked about potentially using the storage space in your servers (i.e. providing SAN function without all the SAN infrastructure) as an option to utilize the servers already in place.  You could then replicate those virtual systems back to a central site Lefthand cluster for redundancy as needed.  Here at links to the Lefthand VSA videos (StoreVirtual is the new name):

2)      StoreEasy - based on Windows Server 2012   Low cost file and application storage tightly integrated into Windows.  De-duplicaiton, Encryption, VSS and many other features are provided in this platform.  X1400 up thru the X5500 models.  12TB 1430 model costs $6,400 from CDW as an example.–

3)      P2000 – this would be a low cost SAN solution that can be direct attached via SAS, fiber or iSCSI depending on the model.  Web link:
