Anonymous Social Media Accounts

It has come to my attention that there are several Instagram accounts, and one TikTik account, that have been made using our school's logo and name in some way. Most of the accounts only have a few posts and followers but some are starting to bully other students.

I don't know how other schools or districts are handling situations dealing with school accounts made in their name. Do any schools or districts have a course of action for how to proceed with these accounts and any student associated with them.

This same thing was brought to my attention just this week with an Instagram account that was using our logo and saying bad things about our school. Whether or not that did the trick, the account was removed by the next day.

We had also reported it to law enforcement, but they said they couldn't take action because it didn't pose a direct threat to anyone (which no names were mentioned in this particular post or actual threats made).
