SMART - VF-55 - Projector

Those of you who have been in our meeting room at the Northwest Service Cooperative know the set up we have with the SMART Board and Projector.

Well, yesterday we powered up the projector and the red light is on, on the bottom of it.

It won't connect to the SMARTBoard at all.

I googled the problem and it said it was overheating. Well that isn't the problem because we just turned it on.

The fan doesn't turn on I don't think. If it does=, it just runs a few seconds and quits.

I put in a bulb a couple weeks ago. It worked fine after that.

We blew out all of the dust and cleaned the best we could.

Any other suggestions?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Did you reset the projector for the new light? It won't run correctly until that is done.

No, I put the old bulb back in and it is working fine. Must have gotten a bad bulb
