MCA Proctor Caching new option

New Optional Precaching Computer Override Functionality

For the spring 2017 MCA administration, Pearson has implemented an optional feature that allows districts to check a box to automatically override the error message on the student machine if the computer or tablet cannot connect to the proctor caching machine. If this checkbox is selected and the proctor cache machine is unavailable, TestNav will download test items directly from the Pearson server so students can continue testing without interruption.

This checkbox is available on the New Cache Configuration Details page under the Configuration Name box in PearsonAccess Next. It can be found under Setup > TestNav Configurations > Create/Edit TestNav Configurations.
