Google Apps & Microsoft Office

For those who are using or going to Google Apps. Are you still upgrading your Microsoft Office suite or supplementing Google Docs for it.

My plan is to only upgrade the administration office and maybe a few lab PCs if college courses require it. But I have a teacher that told the school board he/she believes we are not properly preparing students for the real world if we don't upgrade to office 2010.

I know we somewhat discussed this, but I may need visual references to look back on.

To a point I agree. We will continue to give them word, excel and PowerPoint training in computer apps, but I want to treat it more as a tool. Then using a slightly different tool like google docs or open office will be easy. Ok, that's a pretty lame reasoning, but I'm tired...
