FY2010 Application Filing Window Dates Established.

The FY2010 application filing window opened at noon EST on Thursday, December 3, 2009 and will close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 11, 2010. The filing window will be open for 71 days.

Applicants should note that FY2010 Forms 470 can be filed now.

Also, I received this yesterday from an erate service provider. It has NOT become official yet...

Webhosting FYI: The FCC has indicated that in all likelihood they will deem webhosting ineligible starting with FY2011 (7/1/2011 – 6/30/2012). So we would advise if you sign a contract this year for webhosting services that it be for only 1 year and include a clause "contingent upon receiving e-rate funding".

Another option would be to request a contract with optional extensions in the event that the FCC makes a different decision.
