I had a student bring me a chromebook that went into dark screen mode.  Is there a key combination to bring it back out of the dark screen?  I  looked on the internet and a lot of them are showing me a common problem where they are required to take apart the screen and reset the plugins for the monitor.  Has anyone had this happen?  Where are we sending chromebooks to for problems like this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Rod if I am understanding your question correctly - we have had to reseat the connections to the display many times on our Lenovo N22 touch chromebooks.  Sometimes the screen is black, sometimes it is flickering.  If it is black and not flickering, we check it first with an HDMI monitor to see if the chromebook is working before opening it up.

Yes, that is what it turned out being, as I ran it to a chromebook repair place in Grand Forks.  The connection was still connected but needed to be reseated, now all is fine.  Thank you for the reply!!!
