2013–2014 Site Readiness Confirmation for Online Testing (repeat)

To ensure that districts are prepared to administer Minnesota’s online tests, districts are required to verify that they have taken the following necessary steps to prepare school computers for online testing. Non-public schools administering online assessments will also confirm site readiness through Test WES. Note: If your district has completed this process in preparation for OLPA or Reading and Mathematics GRAD retests, you do not need to complete it again and you can indicate your readiness in Test WES. However, if there have been any changes in your district related to technology, you may want to consider repeating this process before spring test administration.

District Assessment and Technology Coordinators will need to work together to complete the site readiness process. Refer to the Site Readiness 2013–2014 document on the Technical Resources page of the Minnesota Assessments portal for the steps related to completing the site readiness. View the Technical Resources page.

After completing the steps, the District Assessment Coordinator must log in to Test WES to verify site readiness by checking the appropriate option:

  • ·        Our district has successfully completed all the steps above to prepare for online testing.
  • ·        Our district ran into difficulties when completing the steps above.  We are actively working to resolve the issues, including contacting the AIR help desk if necessary.

The deadline to verify site readiness is February 28, 2014.
